- Yakima Valley lives rebuilt: CWHBA completes its own “extreme home makeover” for valley resident Julie Cruz. Investing more than $200,000.00 in builder time, materials and donations the renovated home of Julie Cruz, CWHBA members jumped in to help when they learned that the Cruz family had been a finalist for the TV show Extreme Home Makeover but didn't make the cut. - Specialist Evan Mettie: CWHBA members we’re proud to give back to a local valley veteran by refurbishing his home, enabling him to move back in. The association was able to solicit donations of materials and labor from the membership and the community at large to significantly reduce the cost burden to the family. Members were eager to help out the family and make it possible for Evan to move home.
