Builder Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Have a knowledgeable builder/company representative at the home throughout event hours.
- Complete construction and cleaning before the Tour opens at 10:00 AM Saturday.
- Keep the home, entry, and surrounding area neat, safe, and professional. Protect finishes and block non-public areas.
- Help volunteers with signage and their entry table, and remove event-related trash at the end of each day.
- Provide volunteers with a table, chairs, and shade using the garage, a covered porch, or a pop-up canopy. Water and snacks are appreciated.
- CWHBA provides event signage, magazines, shoe covers, ticketing materials, a cash box, and pens.
Daily Schedule
- 9:15 AM: Arrive and make sure the home is ready.
- 9:30 AM: Greet the first volunteer shift and help them get set up.
- 10:00 AM: Tour opens; welcome attendees and mingle with guests.
- 12:00 PM: Greet the second volunteer shift and provide direction.
- 4:00 PM: Tour closes; help volunteers secure materials and signage, then flag any supply needs for the next day.

- Shoe covers, bin, and sign
- A-frame Tour of Homes directional signs
- Sponsor signage and volunteer table signage

- Cash box and petty cash
App Information
- Open the Central Washington Home Tour app and select Menu > Admin/Staff Login.
- Sign in using the credentials assigned to your home.
- Scan tickets: Menu > Scan Tickets > select your home > scan the attendee QR code.
- Sell Tour tickets: Menu > Sell Tickets.
Recommend the e-ticket whenever possible. Registering an e-ticket in the app is the only way attendees can vote for People's Choice. The app also includes the interactive map, route planning, builder pages, and home details.
