BUILDER RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the home is staffed with knowledgeable representatives at all times.
• Complete all construction and cleaning prior to 10:00 AM on the first event day and do not perform any construction work on the home during public Tour hours.
• Maintain a neat, safe, and professional presentation inside and outside the home.
• Display your professional business marketing materials.
• Protect the home finishes and non-approved areas from the public.
• Assist volunteers in setting out CWHBA signage.
• Remove any event-related trash promptly at the close of each day.

Please provide for your volunteers

• Table, chairs, and shade (have the garage door open, a covered porch or provide a pop-top canopy).
• CWHBA provided: signage, magazines, cash box, pens.
• Consider having water and snacks handy.
• Arrive on time and ensure your volunteers have direction.

Daily Schedule

• 9:15AM Arrive on-site
• 9:30AM Greet your volunteers and assist in getting them set-up.
• 10AM Welcome attendees and mingle with guests.
• 12PM Greet the next group of volunteers and provide direction.
• 4PM Assist volunteers in getting cleaned up and notify CWHBA staff if more supplies is needed.

• Login to the app "Central Washington Home Tour" by going to the menu and clicking “Admin/Staff” login.
  • Username: Provided on-site
  • Password: Provided on-site
• Scanning Tickets: Go to the menu and click “Scan Tickets”. Select your home. Scan using the camera feature. Learn mor from our app developers.
• Selling Tickets: Go to the menu and click “Sell Tickets”. Select your home and ticket type. Enter the information and select Cash or Card.
• Voting in the App: First register your ticket. Go to "People's Choice-Cast Your Votes" in menu. Select the house you love most. Submit your vote!

Builder Bus & Judging

The Builder Bus is an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour for industry professionals and VIP guests. Before the Tour of Homes™ officially opens, participants travel together by chartered bus to preview select projects. Along the way, builders highlight design choices, construction methods, and unique project challenges—giving attendees a rare inside look at the craftsmanship and collaboration behind each home.

While the bus is touring, local judges will also be visiting each participating home to cast their votes for this year’s awards. To ensure smooth judging access, please make sure your home is unlocked, has a lockbox with the code shared with Nola, or that someone is available onsite to let judges in.

The Appreciation & Awards Event

is a celebratory evening recognizing the outstanding craftsmanship, innovation, and collaboration showcased during the Tour of Homes™.

This event celebrates participating builders, sponsors, and partners and features the presentation of judged awards. Guests enjoy dinner, networking opportunities, and a chance to toast the tour's success in a relaxed, festive atmosphere.

In addition to the competitive awards, we take this opportunity to express sincere appreciation to sponsors, volunteers, staff, and committee members whose dedication ensures the success of the Tour.

Held in an elevated yet inviting setting, the event features a short program, light refreshments, and networking with peers. It is both a thank-you and a tribute to the collaborative spirit that strengthens our industry and showcases the best of homebuilding in Central Washington.
