Why Belong to the CWHBA?

  1. Personal service to the industry is the responsibility of every conscientious business owner.
  2. Through CWHBA, the individual builder, remodelor, subcontractor or supplier can give something back to the industry that provides his/her living.
  3. Actively supporting an organization that serves the industry is the right thing to do.
  4. An individual who serves the industry through active participation in the work of CWHBA, will develop skills and broaden insights.
  5. CWHBA members will realize tangible benefits in their businesses through the unified efforts, planning and action achieved by CWHBA.
  6. CWHBA is good business insurance. It works in many ways to enhance the business environment for the common good of the membership, especially now, when a unified action means more than ever before. We can achieve more collectively than we can individually.
  7. CWHBA creates and expresses sound opinions on questions affecting the welfare of the home building industry at the local, state and national levels.
  8. CWHBA members are afforded the opportunity to work toward making the optimum business conditions a reality.
  9. Members profit in two ways from the work of the organization; through dollars and cents, both direct and indirect, as well as from the personal satisfaction of working toward a goal that is not entirely in the range of self-interest.
  10. Membership in CWHBA pays a high rate of interest in business opportunities, personal contacts and community service.
  11. CWHBA links over 750 builders and associates within Kittitas, Yakima and Klickitat counties together in a common endeavor. The aim is to make the improvements necessary to enhance the likelihood of success for the members.
  12. No individual business will prosper greatly unless general conditions are improved. Members benefit from joining three organizations: CWHBA - 750 members at the local level, BIAW - 12,000 members at the state level and NAHB - 215,000 members nationwide. This cooperative effort achieves the greatest results.
