Home and Garden Show

The Central Washington Home & Garden Show returns to Yakima's SunDome March 19-21. The show is presented by Pacific Power Home Energy Savings Program and Cascade Natural Gas Conservation Incentive Program, and sponsored by Western Materials. The Show offers guests the chance to find a wide variety of products and services for their home or apartment. Whether your plans are to build a new home, renovate your current home, or just find new furnishings for your apartment, you'll find what you need at the Show. Meet local builders, remodelers, landscapers and suppliers, and see the latest products for home and garden.

New this year will be "Green Street". All vendors in this special section will be highlighting innovative products designed to help reduce home energy usage, minimize environmental impact, and improve quality of life at home. Stop by and find out why green building and renovation are so popular right now.

If you've been thinking about giving your tired kitchen a make-over, you won't want to miss the live remodeling demonstration. Relax in the bleachers and watch as local remodelers install a new kitchen, and show you products that give you high end looks on a moderate budget. Local landscapers will also be on hand to provide tips on plant selection and planting techniques for your outdoor living area.

Go ahead and bring the family, Lowe's will have special activities for children all weekend in the Lowe's Kid's Corner.
